Rebecca Williams, DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Williams completed her undergraduate studies at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Animal Science. She was accepted into and completed her veterinary medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Williams immediately began to practice veterinary medicine at an emergency hospital in the Bay Area where she gained a vast amount of experience of veterinary emergency medicine. When job opportunities became available, she transitioned to Placer County working general practice and emergency. Her professional interest includes emergency, internal medicine and ophthalmology. Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Williams is kept busy raising her two sons with her high school sweetheart. She enjoys skiing, running, yoga, and spending time with her Australian Shepherd, Comet.
Christina Venable, DVM, cVMA
Dr. Christina Venable (AKA Dr. V) completed her veterinary degree at UC Davis. Since graduating, she has developed a great interest in treatment options other than another pill or another shot. This desire for a different, integrative approach to medicine led her to complete her certification in Medical Acupuncture through the Curacore MAV program at Colorado and in Companion Animal Pain Management through the University of Tennessee. For Dr. V, finding new ways to treat patients never stops. She is currently pursuing further certification in pain management through the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management and in Animal Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee.
Sarah Donahue, RVT
Sarah began her journey working in the veterinary field 13 years ago, although she has had a passion for helping animals her entire life. She started working for an emergency and specialty hospital while working on her undergraduate degree at UC Davis. Once obtaining her BS in Animal Science she worked as a Veterinary Technician in emergency and specialty hospitals and eventually became a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her passion is working in emergency, specialty and general wellness. Outiside of work, Sarah loves spending time with her family, playing soccer and taking her pitty Seuss for a good run!

Cathy, CCRP, RVT
Cathy is originally from the Fresno area. She graduated from Western College of Allied Health Career in Sacramento, California in 1981 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has since worked in daytime, emergency medicine, and critical care hospitals. She was an instructor at San Joaquin Valley College for the Veterinary Technician Program for two years. She also worked as a surgery coordinator for the Central Valley from 2004 to 2014. In 2004, she completed her BA in Management and Organizational Development at Fresno Pacific University. She then went on to complete her Certification in Canine Rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee in 2007. Currently, Cathy is the lead Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner for UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
